Gilberto Vergara BBA, Broker
A graduate from the University of Texas at San Antonio, Gilberto Vergara obtained his Bachelors in Business Administration in May 2005. It was while working with his previous broker as a residential agent, that Gilberto saw great opportunity in the commercial segment of real estate. After 2 years in residential real estate, he turned his full focus to commercial real estate. Specializing in commercial multifamily, he can evaluate a properties' DSCR, NOI, Cap Rate, Cash on Cash return, APOD, among other complex evaluations. Since his first commercial transaction, in early 2005 Gilbert has closed over $15,000,000 in commercial and residential transactions. He has also helped broker in nearly $8,000,000 in commercial mortgages. In June of 2008 Gilberto was selected as one of Realtors(R) 30 under 30 for 2008. He is the only winner for 2008 from San Antonio to receive such an award. He is a member of the San Antonio Board of Realtors, National Association of Realtors, Texas Association of Realtors, Realtors Commercial Alliance, and currently working on obtaining his CCIM designation.

Marlene Arroyo BBA, Realtor
Marlene Arroyo graduated from Texas Woman's University as Magna Cum Laude with a BBA in finance. During her days as a student Marlene was involved in a variety of school programs. Those organizations include Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, LULAC, Golden Key Honour Society, Sigma Beta Delta Business Honor Society, HACU Alumni. She is proud to join the SYLIS team as a Realtor. She is quickly learning the real estate ropes, as she also orginates loans for Wachovia (formaly known as World Savings). She has recently joined the San Antonio Board of Realtors (SABOR), National and Texas Association f Realtors, and the Womens Council of Realtors.

Laura L. Salinas MBA, Realtor
Originally from the Rio Grande Valley, Laura made San Antonio her home in March of 2003. She has worked in the housing industry since 1999 and has helped many families accomplish the "American Dream" of homeownership, hrough counseling and education. During this time, Laura orked at a few key entities, to include the Neighborhood Housing Services of San Antonio, the San Antonio Housing Authority, and the Office of Neighborhood Development Services (in Washington State); which paved the way to her career in the Real Estate Industry. She most recently attended St. Mary's University and received a Master's Degree in Business Administration in May of 2007. Laura is also a member of the San Antonio Board f Realtors (SABOR), Texas Association of Realtors (TAR), and the National Association of Realtors (NAR).

Jorge A. de Leon MBA, Realtor
Jorge de Leon has over twelve years of financial, management, and marketing experience since obtaining his BBA degree in accounting and MBA in management from the University of Texas at Brownsville. He has been in the energy utility industry for almost twenty years, in a variety of functions and capacities including Accountant, Product Manager, Key Account Manager, Project Manager, and Business Manager.During this time, he developed an interest in real estate and began studying the industry prior to obtaining his real estate license. This experience, combined with continuing education and certification in Credit Management, makes Jorge uniquely qualified to handle a variety of real estate business transactions from residential to commercial and investment purchases. Jorge also served as a White House intern, giving him first-hand experience in governmental and political processes. A father of four and married to his high school sweetheart for nineteen years, de Leon is an active member of the San Antonio community.
